Etiquette for yoga class

Jiaren, when you go to yoga class, you need to pay attention to the following yoga etiquette to make your practice more elegant and effective.

1.

Don’t be late: Entering the classroom in advance is the least respect for yoga, teachers and yourself.

If the class has started and you rush into the classroom again, it will not only affect other members’ classes, but also you can directly enter the asana practice without breathing before class.

Such yoga practice is incomplete, unhealthy and unsafe.

2.

Put your shoes in order: Before entering the classroom, put your shoes in order, which reflects your self-cultivation.

To respect others in public is also to respect yourself.

3.

Turn off the mobile phone to mute: Try not to put the mobile phone into the classroom, or turn the mobile phone to mute mode.

Yoga practice needs to be focused and not be disturbed by the mobile phone or other things outside of yoga practice, otherwise the practice effect will be greatly reduced.

4.

Don’t do anything irrelevant to yoga in class: once you enter the yoga class, let your body and mind immerse in it, be serious and focused, eliminate external interference, and don’t do anything irrelevant to the yoga class, so that your yoga practice will be more effective.

5.

Don’t go in and out of the classroom while meditating: yoga is different from ordinary sports.

From sitting posture adjustment before class to body rest after class, it is an essential part of a complete yoga class.

These two procedures must not be ignored.

6.

Respect every yoga class and substitute teacher: no matter whether you like the substitute teacher’s class style or not, once you choose this yoga class and enter the classroom, please do not leave the classroom in advance to have a complete yoga class.

Please respect every yoga class and substitute teacher.

After the class, put your hands together and sing Namaste.

7.

Restore accessories after class: If you use yoga chairs, yoga bricks, stretching belts and other accessories in the classroom, arrange them according to the regulations and put them back to their original positions after the class, so that others and themselves can use them in the future courses.

8.

Take your own things: remember to take away your belongings (such as mobile phones, towels, bags, etc.) after class, such as disposable paper cups, paper towels and other discarded objects used in class.
